I love fresh tomatoes, especially from the garden. I have so many types growing. Tomato bread is so great with fresh tomatoes. This is such an easy lunch or appetizer.
Ingredients:
1-2 French rolls
3 small tomatoes
1/4 teaspoon salt
1/4 teaspoon garlic powder
1 tablespoon butter
garlic salt
mozzarella cheese
- Open one roll and spread some butter on top. Sprinkle garlic salt on the butter, set aside.
- Preheat the oven to 375 degrees. Dice up the tomatoes and sprinkle the salt and garlic powder over tomatoes and mix.Give a little taste, sometimes you might need extra salt.
- Put as many tomatoes as you like on top of the roll and sprinkle the mozzarella right on top. Cook for about 15 minutes. Until nice and bubbly. Enjoy!
*** This recipe is using 2 rolls, so for 2 people. Double the batch and make as many as you like.
