Cheese sticks are the best. But now add Buffalo and chicken, it sounds so delicious.
Ingredients:
2 cups cooked shredded chicken ( about 2 chicken breasts)
4 tablespoons franks hot sauce
6 ounces of cream cheese ( room temperature)
1/2 cup shredded mozzarella
1/2 cup shredded cheddar jack
1/4 teaspoon garlic powder
3 eggs
1 cup seasoned bread crumbs ( or a little more)
1/2 cup flour
Oil for cooking
- In a medium pot boil water and cook the chicken, about 15 minutes or until done. Let cool then shredd.
- Have your cheeses ready and mix with the cooled down chicken, hot sauce and garlic powder. Line a square container or pan with parchment paper and press chicken mixture into pan until smooth and even. Then cover and freeze about 2 hours.
- Take out of the freezer and slice into strips. You can do smaller or bigger ones, however you’d like. Scramble the eggs on a plate and put bread crumbs and flour on 2 other separate plates.
- Dip the strips into flour, then egg then the bread crumbs. Dip back in egg then bread crumbs. It needs the extra coat.. Continue till all breaded. Heat the oil to 350 degrees and cook 2-3 minutes. Until golden and the cheese is melted but not coming out. Dip into ranch or bluecheese. If your not eating all of them, bread them, and place in a zip lock bag and freeze. Cook them when u want.
- You get about 30 cheese sticks. Give or take depending on how you cut the cheese mixture up.
