Ingredients:
For the cake:
2 cups flour
1 1/2 teaspoon baking powder
1/2 teaspoon salt
1 stick softened butter
1/2 cup brown sugar
1/2 cup white sugar
1 teaspoon vanilla extract
2 eggs
1/2 cup sour cream
Cinnamon filling:
3/4 cup brown sugar
1/4 cup flour
2 teaspoon cinnamon
Streusel topping:
3/4 cup light brown sugar
1/4 cup flour
1 teaspoon cinnamon
1/2 teaspoon salt
4 tablespoon butter
- Preheat oven to 350 degrees. First mix your cinnamon filling in a bowl and set aside.
- Now mix the streusel ingredients together in another bowl. until it resembles a crumble, Set aside.
- Start to mix the cake ingredients. Mix the butter and sugars together, add the eggs in one at a time. Then the vanilla extract.
- In a separate bowl mix the flour, salt, and baking powder together. Slowly incorporate it into the cake mix. Then fold in the sour cream.
- In a greased 8×8 baking pan pour half of the cake mix. Now add the cinnamon mixture and spread it out, then add the remaining cake mix. Pour the crumbled streusel mix on top and cook 35 minutes. Insert a toothpick in, if it comes out clean then your cake is done. Set aside and let cool.
