Edible Cookie Dough

Cookie dough is seriously just so good! I can never stop eating it whenever I make cookies. its funny I tell my kids to take a quick lick of the spoon but not to eat too much because you don’t want to get sick. But we’ve all done it, I eat so much of it before I bake my cookies. So this is a nice alternative so you don’t have to worry of getting sick if you eat it and you can eat as much as you want. When I was pregnant and I made cookies I made sure I didn’t lick the spoon, just to be safe. Now this is available, I kept going back and eating it, I think only one of my kids got to try it the one time because it was gone by the time they got home from school haha!

Ingredients:

1 cup Flour ( heat treated)

1/4 cup white sugar

1/2 cup brown sugar

1 stick butter (room temperature)

1 1/2 tablespoon milk (room temperature)

1/2 teaspoon vanilla extract

1/2 cup chocolate chips

  1. Put the flour on a sheet pan and cook for 5 minutes in a 350 degree oven. don’t let it brown. Your heat treating the flour.
  2. Mix the butter and the sugars together. Add the milk and the vanilla extract.
  3. Mix in the flour, and fold in the chocolate chips. I like to use half chocolate and half peanut butter chocolate chips. Its so good!
