Fried Rice!

Fried Rice is super easy to make! You can add just about anything in it. The key is having cold rice, so either from the day before or make it early in the day. I do alot of the prep early then it assembles pretty quick.

Ingredients:

2 cups cooked white rice

1 package cooked bacon ( save some grease)

1 small chopped onion

3 cloves minced garlic

4 tablespoon soy sauce

2 tablespoon butter

2 tablespoon sesame oil

2 tablespoon oyster sauce

2 tablespoon hoisen sauce

1 tablespoon peanut oil

4 eggs beaten

  1. Make sure rice is cold this is important. Cook and chop up bacon. Dice up your onion and garlic.
  2. In a wok, or large enough pan add about 1-2 tablespoon of bacon grease and saute the onion. When almost done add in the garlic and cook 30 more seconds. Put on a plate and keep warm.
  3. Add 1 tablespoon of peanut oil and cook your eggs, add to the onion plate when done.
  4. Now, put sesame oil in pan, get your rice and cook a few minutes on medium heat, mix then let it heat up a couple more minutes. Start to add in soy sauce, butter, hoisen, and oyster sauce. Mix and let everything continue to heat up on medium heat. About a few minutes.
  5. Add in eggs, onion, garlic and bacon. Mix and heat up if its cooled down. Taste, you can add more soy sauce or the sesame oil if needed. Serve immediately, and enjoy.

Hi there! I've always had a passion for food. Ever since I was little. I was never a picky eater, but when I had kids I had to start altering the foods we ate. Being a mother of 3 has put me to the test. I've always enjoyed to cook. As you all know kids change everything. I started cooking all the time, trying different recipes and making them from scratch. My kids love my food and like to help out, thats all I can ask for. So now here I am trying to spread the love and passion with you.
