The fresh lime juice coming through like its summertime all over again. Its so refreshing and sweet, one of the best deserts. Very easy to make they just have to set in the fridge so they are a good desert to make the day before. won’t even have to worry about them.
Ingredients:
Fresh lime juice from 3 limes
Lime zest from one lime (about 1 teaspoon)
one container of cool whip (thawed)
1 (14) ounce can sweetened condensed milk
1 1/2 cups of graham cracker crumbs
6 Tablespoons of melted butter
3 tablespoons white sugar
1. Mix the graham cracker crumbs with butter and sugar. Put cupcake liners in cupcake tins. Press the crumb mixture into the liners (really good), 1 tablespoon in each.
2. Start to mix the lime juice and the milk together in a medium bowl. Add in the lime zest. Fold in the cool whip.
3. When the cool whip mixture is ready, fill the cupcake tins up almost to the top. Then put into the fridge to set and they will be ready the next day or in a few hours. They are so delicious. (I got 18 key lime pies).
