Philly Cheese Steak Sandwich!

Best sandwich ever!! Simple, yet so tasty. Comes together so nice for a great hearty dinner.

Ingredients:

1 pound ribeye, sirloin, NY Strip ( any of these will work)

1 green pepper

1 onion

Mushrooms * optional

8 slices Provolone cheese

Salt n pepper

Olive oil

French Rolls ( I like turano)

  1. Put your steak in the freezer, for at least 30 minutes. It will be easier to slice frozen. If mine is already in the freezer I take it out for 10 minutes then slice it really thin.
  2. Slice up your onion, peppers and mushrooms. Put some oil in a pan and sauté your vegetables.
  3. Rub a little oil on your rolls then put them face down in a medium pan to get a little crisp on them. Set aside.
  4. Add a little oil and start to cook your thinly sliced steak on medium heat. I cook 2 portions at a time. Add some salt n pepper. Start to chop it up with 2 metal spatulas. When almost done add some of the veggies and split up the steak into portions for 2, add 2 slices of provolone on each pile of meat, and let it melt a few minutes . Scoop it up with the spatula and add to the rolls.
  5. This makes about 3-4 sandwiches depending how loaded you do them.

Hi there! I've always had a passion for food. Ever since I was little. I was never a picky eater, but when I had kids I had to start altering the foods we ate. Being a mother of 3 has put me to the test. I've always enjoyed to cook. As you all know kids change everything. I started cooking all the time, trying different recipes and making them from scratch. My kids love my food and like to help out, thats all I can ask for. So now here I am trying to spread the love and passion with you.
