Pickled Peppers!

Do you have a bunch of jalapenos, banana, and hot peppers that you don’t know what to do with. I can help you out with that. I grew all those kinds of peppers this year in my garden and I have too many. So lets pickle them. They are great on sandwiches, just to eat and you can batter and fry them. That may be my next thing to do.

10 -20 Peppers sliced (jalapenos, hot banana, hot peppers you name it)

1 1/2 cup white distilled vinegar

1/2 cup of water

1/2 cup sugar

2 Tablespoons salt

1 garlic clove

1 bay leaf

  1. In a medium pan on low heat dissolve the sugar and salt with the water and vinegar. Let it cool down before pouring.
  2. Slice up your peppers and put them into a jar or a Container with a lid.
  3. Add the garlic and bay leaf. Pour the liquid over the peppers and store in the fridge if it’s not canned. It will keep for a couple of months, if they last that long. Enjoy!!

Hi there! I've always had a passion for food. Ever since I was little. I was never a picky eater, but when I had kids I had to start altering the foods we ate. Being a mother of 3 has put me to the test. I've always enjoyed to cook. As you all know kids change everything. I started cooking all the time, trying different recipes and making them from scratch. My kids love my food and like to help out, thats all I can ask for. So now here I am trying to spread the love and passion with you.
