Slow Roasted BBQ Ribs!!

I love ribs. They are so easy to make. The oven does all the work. You just make some rub, or you don’t have to. Salt and pepper will do the job along with your favorite BBQ sauce.

Ingredients:

1 rack of baby back ribs

1/2 cup BBQ sauce

1 cup water

Rub: Optional

1 Tablespoon Chili powder

1 Tablespoon Paprika

1 Tablespoon Brown sugar

1 teaspoon onion powder

1 teaspoon garlic powder

1 teaspoon salt

  1. Preheat the oven to 225 degrees.
  2. Mix the rub ingredients together in a bowl, and set aside.
  3. Optional: removing the membrane. Flip the ribs over and get a couple paper towels, and a butterknife. Using the butter knife try and push it under the membrane and lift it up. Grab a paper towel and pull it off the ribs.
  4. Rub the rub all over the ribs. Put the ribs into a glass pan. Pour 1 cup of water into the pan and cover tightly with foil. Cook about 3 1/2 to 4 hours. Take out of the oven.
  5. Dump the liquid out, rub the bbq all over the ribs. Set the oven to 375 degrees and put the ribs in the oven for another 15-20 minutes. Enjoy!

Hi there! I've always had a passion for food. Ever since I was little. I was never a picky eater, but when I had kids I had to start altering the foods we ate. Being a mother of 3 has put me to the test. I've always enjoyed to cook. As you all know kids change everything. I started cooking all the time, trying different recipes and making them from scratch. My kids love my food and like to help out, thats all I can ask for. So now here I am trying to spread the love and passion with you.
