Stuffed Mushrooms!

Ingredients:

40 mushrooms (cremini, button)

1 pound ground Italian sausage

2 garlic cloves minced

1/2 teaspoon salt

2 ounces cream cheese room temperature

1/2 cup shredded Asiago cheese

1/2 cup seasoned bread crumbs

2 tablespoon butter

  1. Start to cook the sausage in a medium size pan, crumbling as it cooks.
  2. Clean your mushrooms, and let dry on a paper towel. Cut out the stems and save.
  3. Dice up the stems and add them and the garlic to the sausage when it’s close to being done. Cook for a few more minutes.
  4. Let the mixture cool down. Melt your butter in a small bowl and add the bread crumbs and mix until its all incorporated.
  5. Preheat the oven to 400 degrees. Mix the sausage and your cheeses. You can taste to see if it needs the salt, completely optional. Start to stuff your mushrooms. Then dip the tops into the bread crumbs and put on a sheet pan. Space so they are not touching. Cook about 20 minutes and Enjoy!

Hi there! I've always had a passion for food. Ever since I was little. I was never a picky eater, but when I had kids I had to start altering the foods we ate. Being a mother of 3 has put me to the test. I've always enjoyed to cook. As you all know kids change everything. I started cooking all the time, trying different recipes and making them from scratch. My kids love my food and like to help out, thats all I can ask for. So now here I am trying to spread the love and passion with you.
