If your looking for an easy and quick desert this is the one. No dough to make and you can just buy the filling its so simple and it turns into a delicious pie.
Ingredients:
1 package of 2 pie dough crusts
2 cans of cherry filling
1 tablespoon milk
1 tablespoon sugar
- Preheat the oven to 425 degrees. Let the pie dough sit at room temperature for about 20 minutes.
- Unroll one of the pie doughs over the pie pan and press the dough gently into the pan. Pour the cherry filling onto the dough and then unroll and put the other pie dough on top. Using a fork press down on the dough at the edge to connect the crusts. Lightly spread the milk on top of crust and sprinkle with the sugar. Cut a few slits in the center to vent while cooking.
- Cover the edges with foil for the first 20 minutes, then take it off and cook another 20 minutes or until golden and the center is bubbly.
