Super easy marinade for the chicken. Its so good and an easy weeknight dinner. Most ingredients should be on hand and you can let it marinate for 1-4 hours which ever you’d like.
Ingredients:
2 boneless skinless chicken breasts sliced thin
1 onion sliced
1 green pepper sliced
1 red pepper sliced
2 tablespoon oil
Marinade:
1 lime
1 lemon
1 teaspoon chili powder
1/2 teaspoon cumin
1/2 teaspoon salt
1 teaspoon oregano
1/2 teaspoon paprika
1/2 teaspoon garlic powder
1/2 teaspoon onion powder
1/4 cup vegetable oil
- Start by slicing your chicken breast and then set aside.
- Mix all the marinade ingredients together.
- Mix the chicken with the marinade, cover and put in fridge for 1-4 hours. No more than four hours!
- Slice up your vegetables, and when you are ready to cook the chicken. Put 1-2 tablespoon oil in a large sauté pan and cook your veggies for about 10 minutes. Set aside when done.
- In the same pan start to cook your chicken. Don’t over crowd the pan, you don’t want the chicken to steam, cook it in sections.
